How do I get a quote?

Getting a quote is simple — head to our Get a Quote page, fill out a few details about your space, and we'll get back to you with a clear, transparent quote usually within 24 hours. Business and commercial clients are welcome to contact us directly by phone or email.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend you book as early as possible to ensure you have sufficient time and can secure your preferred appointment time.

Do your prices include GST?

Unless otherwise specified, all services are quoted including GST.

Can I pay my service in instalments?

Of course! We currently accept Klarna as a payment method when we send you your invoice. Just select that option when paying and pay in 4 fortnightly instalments. 

Please note that Klarna is only available on our cleaning services at this stage and is not available for our online shop when purchasing merchandise.

Do you offer recurring discounts?

Yes — clients who book fortnightly or weekly cleans receive a discounted rate over a one-off clean. Get in touch or request a quote to find out more.

Do I need to be home during the clean?

Not at all. Many of our clients provide us with access instructions and go about their day. As long as we can safely access your property, you don't need to be there.

Do you bring your own equipment and products?

Yes — our Service Specialists arrive fully equipped with everything needed to get the job done. We ask that you give us access to the power points and water required to complete the job as necessary. 

Are your products eco-friendly?

Absolutely. All of our cleaning products are sourced from reputable, eco-conscious suppliers — so every clean is as kind to the environment as it is to your home.

What is the difference between a Standard Clean and a Premium Clean?

Our Standard Clean covers all the essentials — vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchens, and general tidying. Our Premium Clean includes everything in the Standard plus a more detailed service covering skirting boards, interior window glass, heat pumps, cobweb removal, and more. It's ideal for a seasonal refresh or when your home needs a little extra attention.

How long will the clean take?

This depends on the size and condition of your property. As a general guide, a Standard Clean for an average home takes around 2–3 hours, while a Premium Clean may take 3–5 hours. End of Tenancy cleans vary depending on the property. Your quote will include an estimated timeframe.

Are your cleaners vetted and insured?

Yes — all Clean O'Clock Service Specialists are fully vetted and insured. Your safety and peace of mind are our priority, and we take the trust you place in us seriously.

What happens if something is damaged during a clean?

In the unlikely event that something is damaged, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We are fully insured and will work with you to resolve the situation fairly and promptly.

Will I get the same cleaner each visit?

We do our best to assign the same Service Specialist to your regular cleans where possible. Consistency matters to us — a familiar face means someone who already knows your home and your preferences.

What areas of Canterbury do you service?

We service Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. A travel fee may apply for properties outside of Christchurch city limits depending on distance. We do not service outside of Canterbury.

Do you charge a travel fee?

A travel fee applies for properties located outside of Christchurch. The fee is based on distance and will always be clearly outlined in your quote before you commit to anything.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee — full details are outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

What do I need to do before the cleaners arrive?

We ask that you put away any personal items, valuables, or clutter where possible so our team can focus on the clean itself. The less time spent navigating around belongings, the more thorough your clean will be.

What does an End of Tenancy clean include?

Our End of Tenancy clean is a comprehensive top-to-bottom service covering all rooms, surfaces, fixtures, and fittings. It is designed to meet the standards expected by landlords and property managers across Canterbury. Full details are available on our services page.

Will this guarantee my bond back?

While we cannot guarantee the outcome of a bond inspection — as that decision ultimately rests with your landlord or property manager — our End of Tenancy clean is specifically designed to give your property the best possible chance of meeting inspection standards.
